The Château Sarasota

2022  ·  2024
A note from the Foy family

To the guests who chose our Sarasota room for an anniversary, a proposal, a Tuesday that needed something better — thank you. You made the room a room.

To the cooks, servers, sommeliers, dishwashers, hosts, and managers who showed up and showed out for every shift — thank you. The standard you held was the standard the Château name asks for. It always will be.

To our neighbors, vendors, and the broader Sarasota hospitality community — thank you for the welcome. We came in as outsiders and you treated us like locals. That generosity is the bay's own.

Running three properties across two states asked more of our family and our team than we could give long-term. So we are closing the Sarasota chapter with our heads up and our gratitude intact. The hospitality you helped us build there isn't gone — it lives at our table in Bolton Landing and at our table on Anna Maria Island.

We hope to see you in one of those rooms soon. Dinner is on us the first time you visit either property and mention you were a Sarasota regular. We mean it.

With love and the deepest thanks,
Buddy & Jennifer Foy

The two Châteaux that remain — Bolton Landing, NY and Holmes Beach, FL — are open and serving.

The room, remembered

Two years. A lot of good nights.

A few frames from the Sarasota chapter — the chef’s table, the dining room, the corner that became a regular’s table, the sign on the way home.
